Appliance Refurbishing
If your appliance still works or can be repaired, we route it to local independent appliance dealers for refurbishing – giving it a second home instead of a trip to the scrapyard. Book a pickup and we handle the rest.
Book Your Pickup →How Refurbishing Works
Refurbishing is not a separate booking – it is what happens to your appliance after pickup, when it qualifies.
You Book Like Normal
Book Curbside or Full-Service pickup the same way as any appliance pickup, and tell us whether it works. There is no separate “refurbishing” price – it is the same booking process.
We Assess the Condition
Each appliance is assessed after pickup. Working or repairable units go to local independent dealers for refurbishing. The rest are parted out and recycled.
Every booking includes a $50 item minimum and a $4.50 service fee, the same as any Curbside or Full-Service pickup.
What Makes an Appliance Refurbishable
Dealers generally look for appliances that work or need only minor repairs, with no major body damage. Telling us whether your appliance works when you book helps us route it to the right place.
Appliances must be empty of all food and liquids before pickup, and water heaters drained.
Why Refurbishing Matters to Us
We•Cycle is a locally owned service, and keeping good appliances in use is the core of what we do. A refrigerator or washer that gets a second life through a local dealer is one less appliance scrapped – and an affordable option for another Arizona household.

Book Your Pickup →Appliance Refurbishing FAQ
Does refurbishing cost less than a regular pickup?
No – pricing is the same as any Curbside or Full-Service booking, starting at $50. Refurbishing is an outcome after pickup, not a separate pricing tier.
Can I request that my appliance be refurbished?
We route every working or repairable appliance toward refurbishing – you do not need to request it. Just answer whether it works at booking and note any details.
What condition does my appliance need to be in?
Working or repairable, with no major body damage. Appliances that cannot be repaired are parted out and recycled instead.
What if my appliance cannot be refurbished?
It is parted out and the remaining materials go to a recycling facility. See Appliance Recycling. Either way, it is picked up the same way at the same price.
Do you take appliances that do not work?
Yes – working or not, we take it. Just let us know its condition when you book.
